Product Description
The carrot likely originated in Persia (now known as Iran and Afghanistan). It was originally eaten for its seeds and leaves, but today it is mostly eaten for its taproot. The belief that eating carrots improves night-vision was a myth put forward by the British during WW2 to mislead the enemy about their military capabilities.
A large portion of carrots grown come from farms east of Mildura.
